Salary:  Scale 2 Point 3-4 £24,027-£24,404 (Pro Rata £21,012- £21,341)

Are you a welcoming, organised and professional individual with a passion for working in a busy educational environment?

The Kingsway School is seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist to join our support team, working across our busy split-site secondary school. You will be the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors, providing a warm welcome and ensuring the smooth running of front-of-house operations, ensuring that all policies are maintained, and government guidelines are followed. 

Key Duties will be varied but will include:

•    Greet visitors, parents, students and contractors in a professional and approachable manner.
•    Operate the school’s main telephone switchboard; handle and direct calls and messages appropriately.
•    Manage the school’s visitor sign-in system, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
•    Provide administrative support to school staff, including photocopying, post distribution, and data entry.
•    Liaise with staff and site teams to coordinate deliveries, appointments, and meeting room bookings.
•    Support the wider office and pastoral teams during busy periods.
•    Travel between school sites may be occasionally required.
•    Any other administrative duties commensurate within band 2

The successful candidate will be organised and self-motivated, have a high level of accuracy and proficient IT skills. They will enjoy working in a team and be able to form strong relationships with team members and students.
