Are you a highly organised, proactive, and people-focused professional looking to make a real difference in a school setting?
The Kingsway School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to lead our busy school office and ensure the smooth and efficient running of all administrative and operational functions.
This is a key role within our school, supporting staff, pupils, parents, and senior leaders while managing the daily logistics that keep our school running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day running of the school office, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment
• Line-manage office staff and oversee their workload and performance
• Lead on key administrative areas including admissions, school trips administration, ParentPay and FSM.
• Act as a key point of contact for parents, visitors, contractors, and the wider school community
• Work closely with the Headteacher and SLT on operational planning, diary management, and communication
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in office or business management (school experience highly desirable)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong IT skills and experience using school management systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, or equivalent)
• A calm, professional manner with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
• A flexible, can-do attitude and commitment to the values of our school community
