It is a very exciting time to join The Kingsway School. We are very proud of our diverse community and were delighted to be one of the first schools in Stockport to be awarded a ‘good’ rating using the new, much tougher Ofsted framework. In January 2020, our school was judged as one where ‘the head teacher and staff are working to make this good school even better (and) prepare pupils well for successful and happy lives.’
The thing that makes us truly special is our students: ‘Pupils come to this school from many different backgrounds. They gel quickly and get along well. Pupils are happy, confident and upbeat. They value education. Pupils are considerate of others, behave well and try hard in class.’
We believe that our pupils deserve the best so we are looking for an exciting, dynamic and inspirational teacher of maths to help accelerate our journey to outstanding and play a key role in further developing our ‘wide-ranging and thought-provoking curriculum’.
We are looking to appoint a member of staff to teach Maths in both KS3 and KS4 classes who will inspire pupils to achieve the highest levels. The ideal candidate will be a teacher who would be willing to contribute to the wealth of opportunities beyond the classroom. Applications from ECT candidates are also welcome.
Our school is committed to the safe-guarding of young people and candidates will be expected to adhere to these expectations.
