An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Kingsway School for a teacher of English to join an excellent team of highly dedicated professionals in a leading department within the school. The English department have successfully achieved consistently high outcomes for our students, with an average of a third of our GCSE cohorts achieving a grade 7-9. Our curriculum at both KS3 and KS4 is diverse, stimulating and ambitious, where students are inspired by their learning and have opportunities to tackle complex concepts, as recognised in our recent Ofsted report. We are looking to appoint a passionate, dynamic and committed member of staff to join our team in teaching both KS3 and KS4 to ensure our students achieve the highest levels and their full potential. An ideal candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for the subject and be able to transmit this to their pupils, have a vision for future development in the teaching of English and a desire to contribute to the wealth of opportunities beyond the classroom.
