Salary: Scale 5 NJC Band MB4, points 34 – 40, £40,478 – £46,549

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and ambitious individual who has an excellent work ethic to join our central team as Trust Facilities Manager. We are a growing multi-academy trust that can offer the right person the opportunity to develop professionally in a supportive environment. Based at The Kingsway School in Cheadle, you will be required to work across various school locations.
The role is key to ensuring that the MAT is making the best use of its building resources and is compliant with all relevant health and safety and other facilities related regulations.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for:

Providing professional and strategic leadership to the Estates Team whilst supporting the growth of the Trust in conjunction with the Executive Team.

Leading the facilities function for the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).

Project managing all material capital projects, including planning permission, contract management, cost control and liaison with external consultants, contractors, architects, DfE and Local Authorities.

Leading the facilities team based across multiple sites, working with key stakeholders to provide high quality advice and support on facilities management and compliance to Trustees, Senior Leadership Team and budget holders within the primary and secondary schools that are part of the MAT.

Leading the development of facilities management and health and safety systems and processes.

Leading on facilities related procurements for the organisation.
Candidates must have at least three years’ experience of leading and managing a facilities team and similar experience in Health and Safety managemnt, project management, procurement, and contract management.
You must hold a Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management) or similar facilities management qualification and relevant Health and Safety Qualification
